Anna Walz, Chief Executive Officer

From senior roles in advertising to the founding of MedEvoke, Anna has been a pioneer in the development of innovative business strategies, operational processes, products, and services. With Anna at the helm, MedEvoke has quickly become a leading partner to many top-20 pharmaceutical corporations. Anna was named Top 100 Pharmavoice “most inspiring leader” 2012. Her significant impact on the industry has also resulted in her appointment on the board of trustees of the Diversity Alliance for Science, Hunterdon Healthcare System, and as Chairman of the Board of Hunterdon Regional Community Health. In addition, Anna is a member of the Executive Leadership Committee  of the Medical Affairs Professional Society and serves as Co-chair, Standards and Guidance Committee.

Marc Sirockman, Chief Strategic Officer, Managing Director

Marc Sirockman brings 30 years of industry experience, unique perspectives and passion for excellence to all his client engagements. Following successful field, management and sales training positions in pharma/biotech industries, Marc has developed strategic insights in the complex touchpoint-matrix framework required to engage healthcare providers, caregivers, payers and patients. Marc was named Top 100 Pharmavoice “most inspiring leader” 2013 and 2015. Marc’s mission is to creatively engage with stakeholders to achieve increased share of “signal voice of truth voice” which is impactful and drive performance within the complex health ecosystem.

David Segarnick, Ph.D., Chief Medical Officer

With degrees in pharmacology and neurochemistry and two decades in the industry, Dr. Segarnick has worked across most therapeutic areas and has supported the launches of blockbusters like Nexium, Prevnar 13, and Cervarix. Involved in every client initiative, he is an expert at building compelling narratives and bridging the communication gap between Commercial and Medical Affairs in client organizations. Dr. Segarnick was named Top 100 Pharmavoice “most inspiring leader” 2013.

Shauna Aherne, VP, Strategic Accounts

Shauna brings more than a decade of extensive experience across the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device and research markets. She has a passion for innovation and driving impact and has demonstrated that success through her strong collaborations and supportive partnerships with clinical, medical affairs through launch excellence and beyond. Shauna is a leader in supporting her team and driving value to support the organizations partners and clients. Using her knowledge of the market, clinical development and organizational objectives, Shauna employs creative thinking, combined with data insight to deliver unique and strategic solutions. Shauna received her bachelor of science in biology from Salisbury University, in Maryland, with a focus on premed studies and genetic research. She also holds a second bachelor’s degree in psychology from Towson University and earned her MBA degree with a specialization in management, project management, and marketing.

Her previous responsibilities include executive leadership, strategy development, team building, sales management, marketing, key account management, and decision-making.  She has a proven record of building and leading business strategy and operations. In her career, Dover has driven value from team development, custom product development, and commercial strategy. In previous roles, Dover has engineered the promotion and development of several companies. She is passionate about medical education and empowering others. In previous roles, Joe has architected the structure and growth of several companies at Mallinckrodt (Questcor), Novartis, Biogen, EMD Serono and Berlex Laboratories. Joe has a BS in Biology from St. Joseph’s University, Pharmaceutical MBA from University of the Sciences in Pennsylvania and Master of Science in Health Sciences from Rutgers – University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.
