Rich Miller has been hired as Chief Creative Officer. With over 25 years of experience, Rich is renowned for driving new business, building dynamic teams, and generating award-winning solutions. Previously he was Vice President, Creative Director at Bionical Solutions and Vice President, Creative Director at Artcraft Health. Producing dynamic work for such notable clients as Pfizer, Novartis, Celgene, Astra Zeneca, Merck, and others, his span of therapeutic areas has been multi-dimensional in the Oncology, Endocrinology Immunology, and Pulmonology categories, as well as the Clinical Trial and Medical Device categories. Throughout his career, distinctions have included the MM&M Gold, PM360 Trailblazer, Pharma Choice Gold, New Jersey Ad Club, Interactive Media, Marcom Platinum, Communicator Award of Excellence, Graphic Design USA, and Hermes Gold Awards. In addition, Jayme Warischalk, Ph.D., has been hired as a Medical Writer. Jayme has a strong scientific background, having earned a Ph.D. in Pharmacology from the University of North Carolina and an MS in Biochemistry and Biophysics from the University of Pennsylvania. She has broad knowledge of gene therapeutics, for which she was awarded a patent for improving the delivery of adeno-associated virus (AAV) to skeletal and cardiac muscle to enhance the clinical application of gene therapy for diseases such as muscular dystrophy and heart failure. Most recently, she worked as a scientific video script writer for diverse audiences. Jayme also holds BS degrees in Mathematics, Chemistry, and Biology from the University of Tampa.

Brian S. Shaechter has been hired as Senior Vice President, Strategic Accounts. Brian has over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, chemical, research, education, and medical device markets. During that time, he brought compounds and devices from the pre-clinical stage to market. Prior to joining MedEvoke, he spent his early career with Baxter Lifesciences, ThermoFisher Scientific, Atcor Medical, and the Artcraft Health organizations, supporting hundreds of global and domestic clients. Brian has a B.A. in economics and minor in finance from the University of Maryland, College Park. He is also certified in the principles of Good Clinical Practice developed by the International Conference on Harmonization.

Lynn Ragno has joined MedEvoke as Project Manager. With over 17 years of experience in marketing and account services, Lynn strives to identify and explore unique approaches to marketing and communications challenges, always with a keen eye toward exceptional client service. Prior to joining MedEvoke, she was an Account Manager with the CI-Group. Lynn holds a B.A. in Communications from Rutgers University.

Linda Andersen has joined MedEvoke as Director, Strategic Accounts – Clinical Trials. Linda is an accomplished business development manager, dimensional marketer, and solutions-minded problem solver with over 20 years of pharmaceutical industry experience. She is passionate about providing clients with creative strategies that enhance compliance, engagement, and bridge the gap in communication between key stakeholders. This methodology puts emphasis on the entire patient-caregiver experience for improved outcomes for all. Over her career, Linda has developed marketing strategies in the therapeutic areas of endocrinology, rheumatology, oncology, dermatology, neurology, as well as rare diseases. She has contributed to the development of 2 patented patient-education pieces. She holds a B.A. in Communications from Montclair State University.

Sophia Maier has also joined the company as Director, Strategic Accounts – Clinical Trials. Sophia has a strong background in clinical nursing, as well as trial and project management. In her prior role, she served as a clinical nurse specializing in cardiac care at Abington-Jefferson Health. She has worked for several companies such as ICON Medical Imaging, assisting in identifying physicians to act as consultants and independent blinded reviewers for clinical trials. She has a B.S. in Biology from Temple University and a B.S. in Nursing from Drexel University.

David Loux joins MedEvoke as Director, Strategic Accounts – Clinical Trials. David has over 10 years of business development experience in the life sciences industry, supporting a range of solutions in digital media, mobile advertising, medical education, professional promotion, Direct-to-Consumer, and Point-of-Care initiatives in the oncology, cardiovascular, and rare disease categories, among others. Prior to his current role, David was a Senior Director of Life Science Solutions with Outcome Health. 

Steve Close has been hired as Director, Strategic Accounts – Medical Affairs. Steve brings over 25 years of pharmaceutical industry experience to MedEvoke, having held senior management positions in academic and commercial medical publishing, medical communications, accredited professional education, and advertising agency account services. He has successfully provided leadership to sales teams via development of a clear, strategic focus in alignment with sales goals, that has resulted in consistent revenue growth year after year. At MedEvoke, Steve will lend his talents to consulting with Medical Affairs professionals within pharmaceutical and medical device companies to provide evidence-based communications solutions for both products on the market, and products in development.

Kara Wilson has been promoted to Senior Director of Research and Analytics. In this new role she will lead the Strategic Services Department, driving client analytics and company innovation. Kara previously built a project management department within Rutgers University and will bring her expertise in informatics and process development to this role.

Caroline Tylawsky has joined MedEvoke as Director of Client Strategy, where she will work with online, digital, and social media data to provide actionable insights and deep analyses for clients. Caroline began her career on the creative side of communications, focusing on social media engagement, content, advertising, and campaigns, before moving further into social media analytics, listening, and reporting. With over 8 years of experience developing online and social media strategies for clients, Caroline has championed deep data study and real consumer feedback to drive results. Caroline has a B.A. in Political Science and International Relations from Boston University.

Lise Goldstein has joined MedEvoke as Director, Client Services. Most recently, Lise was with the Phoenix Group as an Account Director. She is an accomplished Account Executive with extensive experience in business operations, account management, and strategic business planning. Lise brings over 20 years of relevant industry experience in the development of client-tailored solutions that have led to the successful execution of business strategies and tactical plans. In her role, Lise will manage and oversee Account Direction and Project Management.

Stefanie Zsamba has been hired as Strategic Account Director. Stefanie has over 12 years of pharmaceutical and healthcare experience. Prior to joining MedEvoke, Stefanie worked in managed care, leading several payer and health system initiatives such as market research, value proposition, and population health toolkits for several chronic disease areas. Over her career, she has worked in a variety of therapeutic categories including immunology, respiratory, hepatitis C, HIV, diabetes, and multiple sclerosis. Stefanie has a B.A. in Criminal Justice and Sociology from La Salle University in Philadelphia, PA.

Bridget Finnerty has joined MedEvoke in the role of Senior Medical Writer to support expanding business companywide. Bridget has extensive industry experience developing medical content across many disease states and therapeutic areas, including oncology, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease, among others. She has an M.S. in Biological Sciences from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

Susan Maco has been hired as Project Manager, where she is integral to the company’s growing content management team. Most recently, Susan was an Account Manager at the Phoenix Group. She brings experience in account and content management to her position. She holds a B.A. in English from the College of New Jersey.

Sabrina Muriale has joined MedEvoke as Associate Project Coordinator. Sabrina is a recent graduate from Monmouth University. She has a B.A. in Communication with a concentration in Public Relations and Journalism. Sabrina will support the Client Services and Data Analytics teams.

Her previous responsibilities included executive leadership, strategy development, team building, sales management, marketing, key account management, and decision-making. She has a proven record of building and leading business strategy and operations. In her career, Dover has driven value from team development, custom product development, and commercial strategy. In previous roles, Dover has engineered the promotion and development of several companies. She is passionate about medical education and empowering others. Fred Short has been promoted to Vice President, Strategic Accounts. Formerly Director, Strategic Accounts, Fred Short brings to MedEvoke over 15 years of sales management experience in the healthcare information industry, supporting a range of initiatives in research and development, medical information, regulatory, marketing, and educational outreach. With broad knowledge of many therapeutic categories, including neurology, ophthalmology, diabetes, infectious disease, and pathology, Fred has global expertise in designing layered, effective solutions scaled to client need. He has been instrumental in developing customized education programs for the American Academy of Neurology, American Heart Association, and American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, among others. Prior to his current role, Fred was Director of Sales – Eastern Region for Wolters Kluwer, and Director of Corporate Sales at Ovid Technologies. He has a BA in Finance from Philadelphia University.

Keli Burd is now Director, Client Services. Keli has been with MedEvoke since 2014, most recently in a Sr. Project Management role. She has over 20 years of project management and client service experience in medical communications and marketing within the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. Keli has been instrumental in helping build an operational foundation for the growth of MedEvoke and will oversee Account Direction, Project Management, and client satisfaction.

Barbara Zolli is now Director, Content Management. Barb most recently held the position of Sr. Medical Writer at MedEvoke, and within a year has proven leadership skills that will be key to MedEvoke’s continued growth and expansion. Kara brings digital strategy experience from both the pharmaceutical and higher education industries to her position.

Phoebe Bull has also been hired as Account Director. Previously, she was an Account Manager at Bionical, overseeing pharmaceutical projects for Astrazeneca and Daiichi Sanyo Incorporated, and a Scientific Recruiter at Astrix Technology Group, where she placed researchers for pharmaceutical and biotech companies, including Merck and Pfizer. Phoebe holds a B.A. in English Literature from Mount Holyoke College, and a B.A. in Physics from Temple University.

On the creative side, Margaret Lepera brings to MedEvoke over 20 years of expertise in healthcare advertising and marketing, working most recently as a consulting Creative Director for Information Integration, Inc., and consulting Associate Creative Director for Concentric Health Experience. Margaret will bring seasoned creative and strategic insights to her position as Senior Medical Writer, to advance the company’s overarching clinical and marketing objectives in principal content areas.

Dover Bull has been hired as Director Strategic Accounts. Dover is a highly accomplished pharmaceutical professional with over 15 years of experience in consulting, marketing strategy, and a deep understanding of selling to pharmaceutical companies. She most recently was CEO/President of CONNX Clinical Solutions and BioPharm Communications, as the SVP Sales & Marketing. She has extensive experience in strategy, problem-solving, and business development. Dover is known for her innovative and strategic thinking.

Joe Cikowski joins the MedEvoke team as Director Strategic Accounts. Joe brings with him over 20 years of agency, consulting, business development, strategy, and pharmaceutical experience. He most recently was with Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals as Market Development Manager, Autoimmune, and Rare Diseases and prior to that at Novartis Pharmaceuticals as the Regional Sales Manager, Neurology. With immense knowledge of cross-functional strategic account planning and tactical implementation, Joe is poised to make an immediate impact on our business.

Barbara Zolli joins MedEvoke as a Medical Writer. Barb has over 25 years of healthcare, medical education, communications, and marketing experience. She most recently was Director, Content Management with Phoenix Marketing Solutions. She has a wealth of experience in content development for a wide variety of therapeutic areas. Barb has worked with a variety of business partners, overseeing teams to ensure successful delivery of projects/programs. She has account management, publication planning, and program design experience.

Jennifer Sootkoos joins MedEvoke as a Project Manager. Jennifer is a client service professional with over 16 years of quality assurance, project management and regulatory experience in the pharmaceutical industry. She was most recently a Regulatory Associate in the Global Regulatory Affairs group at Eli Lilly. She has a strong understanding of project management, global issues, and client deliverables. Jennifer joins the team to ensure successful delivery of projects.
